
Okra & Ginger Information
Well Okra is a fresh green vegetable also known as ‘lady’s finger’. Okra has been said to be s rich sources of dietary fibre, minerals, and vitamins. The pods contain a healthy amount of Vitamin A and flavonoid anti-oxidants such as Beta Carotenes, Xanthin and Lutein. The pods are also an excellent source of anti-oxidant vitamins, vitamin C. Research suggests that consumption of food rich in vitamin C helps the body develop immunity against infectious agents, reduce episodes of colds and coughs and protects the body from harmful free radicals.
