
Ginger Information
Ginger, also known as ginger root is a hot, fragrant spice produced from the rhizome of a flowering plant. Scientific analysis shows that ginger contains hundreds of compounds and metabolites, some of which may contribute to health and healing. The health benefits of ginger are largely due to its antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and content of therapeutic compounds like gingerol, shogaol, paradol and zingerone.
